Many of our students lack a solid foundation in reading music. Over 70% of the music students have never had a music class in their entire journey from PK up to 5th grade; sometimes even up to 9th grade. I'm happy to teach music reading skills to create flexible and well-rounded musicians. However, I need your help. Our music classroom is an interactive environment where they can tangibly manipulate through materials while completing their music lessons. Our iPad will help our students independently practice warm-ups and music drills that challenge their reading abilities. Overall, their skills are documented allowing me to analyze their results, leading to data-driven instruction. This will be a perfect addition to the classroom for individual and small group self-guided instruction.
