Students in my classroom spend a great deal of the time during our day collaborating with others on math problems, questions, projects, and reading discussions regarding chapter books or other assigned reading. However, many times students need their own private space for thinking or assessments. Privacy shields are a great addition to the classroom for students to have their own personal thinking space and privacy. I attempted to create my own Do-It-Yourself privacy folders, which didn't last very long out of file folders. Next, our school purchased a set of cardboard ones, which are falling apart even after adding duct tape. We would love to have a nice set that have a laminated type of material for added durability.
