I am so excited to create a safe and effective learning environment for my new sixth-grade​ class. As a new teacher (entering mid-year to an established classroom) my goal is to give my students the basic tools they need to succeed! The seating arrangement in my class is tight (with 25 students) and desk dividers will give my students a sense of privacy during testing. The storage drawers and pencil boxes will help keep them organized with easy, go-to supplies readily available to them. Posters will aid them in remembering the importance of kind words and hard work! New books are also an exciting treat for these students as many of them have a passion for reading that I would love to see continue.
