For many pre-k students, sitting still is hard to do. Children at the ages of 3-5 have limited attention spans and lots of energy. To help the students transition to the more structured environment of kindergarten, where they will be required to sit for longer periods of time, we increase the amount of time the students sit throughout the year. Sitting is something that is difficult for many students that haven't been required to do it before. To aid students in this we have provided them with a couple specialized cushions; however, I would like the entire class to have the option of using these cushions.
