For the past twelve years the original Mackie speakers at Pike peak Elementary have done a great job of assisting students in their music productions and drama performances. Parents have enjoyed the experiences of hearing their students perform and seeing their children develop in the arts. Unfortunately the old Mackie speakers are wearing out and have become non operational with several components within the speakers failing. This leaves the school without a way for students to perform with music and be heard by the audience and their parents. A new set of speakers would make our pro audio system fully functional again with the compliment of equipment necessary for students to perform and engage with the community.
