Helping us build our dream class library will benefit our class in many different ways. Building strong and confident readers is a primary component of Read 180. One section of our class is dedicated specifically for Independent Reading. Often times I notice my students struggling to select a text. A lot of our classroom books are outdated and non relatable. Having an updated and diverse library to choose from will help engage my students and grow them as readers. I want them to be able to see themselves in the texts they read.
