These materials will help the Veterinary Assisting students learn hands-on skills in a safe manner prior to working with live animals! The stuffed animals will be turned into life-size practice simulators for several veterinary techniques. The simulators will help with sample collection, injection practice, IV placement, bandaging, and medicine application! The two lab kits will introduce students to diagnostic procedures that are common in veterinary practices. Every student should be confident when working with animals! These materials will allow students to become sure of their abilities which will help them overcome their nervousness when working in the animal science industry. Like the saying goes: Practice makes perfect!
