My project is to motivate my students to read. Not just, read, but love to read. I want to develop vocabulary and decoding skills while also improving my students' comprehension and fluency. Setting high expectations and developing a culture of achievement creates independent, successful students with a college-bound mindset. To achieve this in my classroom, we need to invest in each student's road to success. Supplying students with an individual allocation of the items they need will enhance their learning. Headphones for their independent tech station will give the students the opportunity to work at their own pace and see their individual successes. Having the classroom tools to enhance learning is such an advantage to student learning.
