I am a special education resource teacher for Baltimore City Public Schools. My students are highly motivated playing educational games and learning through other mediums besides paper and pencil and technology. The games that I chose to be donated will reinforce the skills that my students are learning in class. Many of my students earn classroom dojo points for excellent behavior. The games are part of reinforcing and rewarding their good behaviors. In addition to playing educational games, my students are also motivated to learn through using the classroom white board. The individual white boards will certainly motivate my students to complete their classwork. The white boards have many purposes such as checking for understanding, playing games, and motivating learners to complete their work.
