A few weeks ago, a safety inspector came and told us that we were in violation of safety regulations because we kept chemicals in the lab "unprotected". Both chemistry and biology labs require the use of hazards chemicals including acids. Storing those chemicals requires the use of acid-safe cabinets. These cabinets will help us keep the chemical both safe and available in the lab to be used at any moment when they are needed. We have three labs that are contiguous and depending on the lab activity, I (and my colleagues as well) use a different lab. This is why I am requesting three cabinets.
