Technology-rich school environments foster engaged learning and prepare students for the future. Technology will allow students to be active, rather than passive learners. These six Apple iPads will enhance my third grade students' learning. Students will be able to learn more about content skills as well as technology skills with these iPads. Students will continue learning how to code and use Google Classroom. These iPads will allow my students to have more opportunities for learning to read and reading skills. Our state will adopt new Reading textbooks in the fall. Most of the publishers have many portions of the new curriculum that can be accessed online. Foundational reading skill books, leveled readers (books on a child's reading level), online libraries, news websites for students, and intervention and enrichment: lessons, games, and videos will all be available for students who have access to technology/devices. Having these devices would allow my students to fully utilize the resources available to them.
