These set of scientific calculators are for everyday use in both my Algebra 1 Class as well as my Fundamentals of Business class. In my Fundamentals class, we do a project on understanding the time value of money, importance of saving and investing, the cost of college, as well as incorporating a unit in accounting where I cover the essentials of financial accounting. In my Algebra class, the use of calculators in complex and word problems are needed when the numeric values exceed the scope of just using paper and pencil. I do not permit them to use their phones to access the calculators, so the need for an actual calculator is critical. Next year I will also be teaching an financial accounting class where it is essential that we have these calculators everyday. Many of the exercises and activities require the use of a calculator.
