I'm requesting an Apple iPad and protective cover and a Kindle Fire tablet. They will be used by the students to access millions of free books and resources. As both devices are internet accessible, students can also use them for taking quizzes and to study using various apps for all subjects. The applications of this device also make it useful for writing and reading books. Students can also you these devices for intervention during small group instructions. Decoding Word Power will be used in our class for intervention. It is a very valuable tool and will hopefully lead the way for innovative learning in my classroom and school. This is a group of deserving, and hardworking students! Reading is a gift that will benefit many students for years to come.
