Many of my students have difficulty getting the full benefit of their Chromebooks due to the fact that they have trouble controlling the mouse using the built-in mouse on the touchpad. It takes my students much longer to complete assignments, perform research and to successfully complete state and other online tests. The extra time spent helping my students navigate through a test or assignments takes away valuable teaching time that they sorely need. I have seen first hand the success my students have had using computer mice that I have brought from home! I am requesting twelve wireless mice for my special education students to use with their Chromebooks. These mice will allow my students to focus more on the task on hand rather than navigating the computer. Based on previous experiences I know that my students will be able to turn in assignments that better reflect their actual understanding of the content. My students and I greatly appreciate the time you are taking to read my project. Thank you so much.
