Our students will have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge through hands-on activities involving science, nature, and diverse cultures; which is sometimes hard to reach within the classroom setting. These experiences will invigorate our student's desires to learn outside their boundaries and promote friendships during their last year at the elementary level. This project will insure that our sixth graders leave Wayland Bonds with long-lasting relationships created through teamwork, flexibility, leadership, and community awareness. Our goal as elementary teachers is to prepare our students for beyond the classroom. "Create the child for the path, not the path for the child." -Jen Hatmaker
