A newly opened section of the school library has been set aside for hands on learning. Students will explore topics in science, review and discover mathematics concepts, and learn more about engineering and technology. Hands on learning using Lego pieces will be one of the main attractions in the new STEM Zone. Having a variety of these materials will allow students to work together in small groups to collaborate on fresh ideas. Students will be able to apply some of the concepts they are learning in math and science class. We are hoping to have an open learning section in the library for students to engage in as they read/complete their work.
