Our four grade Dual Language Immersion students need diverse and varied materials to increase their enthusiasm of learning Spanish. The use of English-Spanish dictionaries will enhance their vocabulary and facilitate better communication, verbally and written. Even though they have access to other resources in the target language, the use of English-Spanish dictionaries is essential to their vocabulary- building process. The use of English-Spanish dictionaries is vital to the acquisition of a richer vocabulary. The remaining items such as the paper, stamper, and dry erase boards will also aid us in our work. We need the paper for written activities and projects. The stamper with lively messages will brighten the students’ day when they receive a stamp of approval on their assignments. And lastly, the dry erase boards have multi-purposes: quick feedback, quick checks, quick writes, and partner-share responses. I know our students will receive these items with much excitement and gratitude. Thank you!
