The students in my class will learn about simple machines by using LEGOs. They will use the Simple Machine LEGO set with some additional LEGO building blocks that were also ordered. Students are naturally curious about how the world works. One of the things they wonder about is how simple machines work. The LEGO sets will give them a hands-on experience in making different simple machines and seeing how they work. They can compare this to the real work simple machine they encounter each day. By giving students hands-on experiences students who learn best with hands learning are helped in their learning. The students will find LEGOs a fun engaging way to learn simple machines principles.
