The State and National Standards require P.E. teachers to teach students specific manipulative skills. So without basketballs, I'm unable to effectively teach these valuable skills. These basketballs will help all K-6 students learn dribbling skills as well as shooting a basketball through a hoop. It will also build on social interaction and group dynamics by productively participating in small and large groups. Students can build on teamwork by passing and have more opportunity to master their basketball skills. Learning to play basketball and work on the fundamental skills can help students with life long skills and living a healthy life!
