This proposal is for a purchase of an iPod touch. The students will use this device and software to film, edit and publish their work. It will be presented through our film festival for viewing. Through the Art form of Film Production, students will be able to express what they have learned. By using this art form, the students will demonstrate their learning through various higher levels of learning including creation and synthesis to name a few. They will create the scripts to guide their project and communicate their learning through analyzing, editing and the critique of their work through the process known as Critical Friends. These are essential skills to learn and can be applied with other projects not just the film making art form.
