If my project is funded, we will receive a class set of whisper phones, as well as a whisper phone select. Whisper phones will provide my kiddos with critical auditory feedback and amplification of their own voice while producing targeted sounds, in addition to helping them to focus on individual sounds. The Whisper Phone Select will allow for the kids to hear my voice amplified while modeling targeted sounds. Research has shown that amplification of targeted sounds can have a significant impact on progress. Seeing the joy on these kiddos faces when they produce their sounds correctly the first time and are able to confidently communicate with teachers and peers is priceless!
