This project is requesting 4 wobble cushions and 4 comfy portable floor seats to add to our traditional classroom environment! These seating options will allow my students to begin having a flexible seating environment where they are given choices in where to sit in the room as well as they type of seat that will work best for their individual learning styles. Flexible Seating has been proven to work with all types of learners in grades K-12 from the ADHD student, the overachiever, the shy student, and the student who has a hard time focusing and listening! Many classrooms in our building have flexible seating for their students and the teachers have shared what an improvement they have seen with student engagement among all learning styles and also the improvement with focus and attention from the ADHD students within their classroom as well. These flexible seating additions to our classroom will allow for my students to have a say in their interest as well as an opportunity to move and fidget in a location that best suits their needs without interrupting their classmates or instruction. I want my students to have an environment they are proud to be a part of that also best meets their learning style needs! Thank you for considering our project!
