I am a title I teacher. The students that I serve come from a very low income school. Our free and reduced lunch rate is hovering at 92% which means that 92% of our kids lives at or below the poverty line. We have some amazing families at our school! Over 52% of our kids do not speak English as their first language. This means that many of our wonderful families can not help students with simple assignments. My job is to make sure that these students are getting that extra support that they need to be successful during the school day.
