Our substantially separate classroom is comprised of students with a range of diagnoses. Learning concepts can be much more challenging for each of these little friends than their typically developing peers. Providing my little heroes with seating options will allow them to choose a place where they can learn best. Some of the students in our classroom need to move their bodies so utilizing a wobble cushion, stretch band on the bottom of the chair or a standing table will help to meet their needs. Other friends need a calm and comfortable seating options such as a bean bag chair or pillows/cushions to do their best.
