Flexible Seating: It is important in my class to be able to reach all students and meet their needs. This year I have students with special needs that are more active during the learning time. It is harder for them to focus on lessons while seating at the carpet or their desk. Flexible seating allows students movement as they listen and learn. Being able to choose how they would like to work whether it be in a flex space balance ball seat or sitting on a floor with flex space comfy floor seat will make it easier for them to focus and take in the information being taught. My students love having a choice on how they want to work and and feel they are in charge of their learning.
