Kids are made to move. My students are no different. However, many of them need the ability to move around and get sensory input throughout the day. Often times this results in being distracted from learning and even getting into trouble. Flexible seating helps students move and wiggle while they sit, meaning they can move while working! Even students without the sensory needs benefit from the flexible seating as they love to earn special seating as a reward. By donating flexible seating to my classroom, my students will have brand new seating options that will not only motivate students, but also, help meet needs for their learning.
