"Research indicates that music strengthens areas of the brain that, in a child with ADHD, are weak." Students will be using keyboard stands in class to give them the space and time they need in order to concentrate on practicing keyboard, especially for students with ADHD. Having the stands will provide necessary support for students to play the keyboards instead of having to balance the keyboard on their knees. The keyboard stands will also allow students to spread around the classroom in an orderly fashion instead of being cramped around the few desks available. We will be able to use the keyboard stands for performances outside of the classroom, as well.
