My students now sit at tables that are unsafe and so old that the legs keep breaking and giving way while they are sitting under them. I have had to repair them almost daily. The tables are very old and heavy. I am very fearful someone will get hurt one day because of them. We would sure love some new tables for our room to be able to write on and trust they are safe. If my students do not have a solid writing surface to work on we will not be able to learn how to write or even be successful in preparing them for first grade!
