It is my goal to create a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) room at our school. Teachers will eventually have resources and materials readily available for their use. The space will also provide a Makerspace where students can explore, invent and discover. We are in the beginning stages of establishing a STEAM/Makerspace room. At this time, we have random containers that have been collected from classrooms and trash piles. We also have odd and end materials for the teachers to use. I will catalog each item purchased and make it readily available to classes. I will use the storage containers to organize the area.
