I teach social studies at a diverse, Title 1 middle school in Bronx, NY. Middle school can be a tough time for these students so it is important to me to make my class a safe and nurturing learning environment. I like to make social studies a fun and engaging subject that the kids look forward to coming to every day. I am inspired by these young minds and I have no doubt that they will be the future leaders of our nation.
