We are requesting the purchase of Buddy Bench to be placed outside on the playground. We recently lost an amazing student who had a heart of gold. He was caring and always looking out for others. Whenever someone was having a hard time he would always sit by them and say "remember that time..." and then start in on a funny story or something to make them feel better. The students came up with the idea of honoring Wyatt by placing a Buddy Bench on the playground so that if any student is feeling lonely or doesn't have someone to play with at recess they can go and sit on the bench and others can then go and join them or invite them to go and play and with them. They want to continue on Wyatt's loving and caring ways and make sure that each student is treated with kindness and that they are never alone.
