The materials listed will allow my students to work hands on with our lessons instead of just on notebook paper. Several of the math books provide real life problems for them solve. The books will also encourage reading comprehension skills to solve the problems. My 7th graders work a lot with probability. The dice, cards, and spinners will allow them to create their own experimental probability. My students love working hands on. It is very difficult to provide hands on activities for two grades due to supplies being so costly. My students deserve to have hands on activities to make learning fun.
