I am a second year teacher who is still building up her classroom supplies and materials. I was given two small rugs by a parent, but the rugs aren't able to fit all of my students on it for them to be comfortable. The rug is an important part of our classroom where we all come together to learn. The rug is where we do a lot of our whole group learning. It is in front of the board and projector. It's where we hold our Morning Meetings and we have read-alouds. It's where we learn and grow as students.
