Lighting in a classroom can create difficulties for students with certain disabilities or needs. We use books to learn new skills all the time. New books help us learn social/emotional concepts and skills in different ways. I use online books, but it's so much more engaging when we can read the book together, pausing to discuss our practice emotions or tone of voice as we read. One book on the list is for our special education teachers to continue to lean and grow with and for our students.
