Rolling stands for our bass xylophones will allow my students to play the instruments in a comfortable standing position. Since the stands are adjustable they will allow students of varying ages to make use of the same instruments with a few simple modifications. This is especially important since classes meet back to back with third grade coming in immediately after fifth grade. It also will make the instruments handicap accessible for students who are restricted to playing from a chair or wheelchair. The stands have wheels which will allow us to move the heavy wooden instruments around the classroom with ease and even push them across the school building; this will provide students with more opportunities to utilize these fan-favorite instruments both in class and for school performances. The bass xylophone instruments provide quality sound and allow students to accompany themselves for songs we sing in our classroom. These stands are built to roll over uneven surfaces which will be very helpful since my classroom has carpets on the floor for the youngest students.
