My students age range is from 5 to 10 yrs. old. At these age, they are very curious about everything. Sparkling these interest and curiosity on my students with ASD is already a great achievement in the classroom. In our STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math) classroom, we provide them with various ways to learn and understand the subject as it relates to their everyday life. Right now, we don’t have all the means to address the need of my students. My students love to do hands-on as well as technology in the classroom. It would be best to have Science and Engineering kits and materials for them to use. Science kits that include, microscope with slides and specimen, energy, electricity and magnetic kits, Build and Play Sets, and tablets to make technology happen. Being the coverage teacher, I have 8 classes whose class ratio is 6:1:1 and 8:1:1. I could just foresee the excitement on my students eyes when they get to have these materials. I am looking forward to your generosity.
