Humans can learn many things about themselves through working with animals. Watching the horses in their herd can mirror situations in their classrooms. This program uses the horse as a tool for the student to learn self confidence, decision making and team building. This will give them the confidence to believe in themselves. We will work with youth who struggle with emotional, social, or behavioral problems. Equine facilitated activities will help reduce anti-social behavior and aggression through relationships with the horses. Hoping that learning these skills will be a positive factor in preventing the student from dropping out of school.
