If this project is fully funded, we will be able to add at least 40 books to our classroom library! Some examples of the titles they have chosen include Wonder, Pax, Eleven, Diary of A Wimpy Kid, and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. That's 40 current and relevant books for my students to read and pass on to next year's class. I don't have reluctant readers, but by having these books picked out by kids, not adults, it should hopefully help any in-coming reluctant readers. In choosing their own books to read, my students will be that much more likely to read more.
