The students at my school have a huge desire to learn how to play piano. We unfortunately do not have the space or money to have a dedicated piano lab. These pads will be idea, allowing the students to have the feel of a piano keyboard in front of them. We have tried using iPads in place of the piano, but the students could not get the full piano experience using iPads. With the piano pads I will be able to turn my classroom into the piano lab my students have been dreaming about. Learning piano will help ensure my students grow not only as music makers, but as learners. Piano lab will teach my students how to work independently, give them more in-depth problem solving skills, and help grow perseverance for learning.

About my class
