The materials provided to the class will help them find a love for life-time sports in either individual and team sports. We are currently very short on equipment for sports such as disc gold baskets, disc golf, and frisbees. There are many values of sports including promoting a healthy lifestyle and the experiencing the outdoors. For example, disc golf is a growing sport involving a large amount of walking plus an outdoor activity to provide fresh air. It is similar to golf but with frisbees of all difference styles depending on the distance. We are providing them an opportunity to find a new passion as students to enjoy sports even if they do not play a team sport representing our school. They loved the badminton unit, now I want to provide more life-time sports with your help by May 15th.
