Students often need the opportunity to regulate, reset, and recharge themselves. I have an area of the room specifically designed for that, but I need a variety of items they can use. This basket of sensory items will keep students in class to cool down, rather than having to access an alternate location. In the past, I have purchased one or two of these items myself. However, I've never gone all out and obtained an arsenal of objects. What works for one student doesn't work for the other, and so on. Also, some sensory items can be poorly made or easily destructible. I've wasted my money on those before, but took care to request durable items for this project. Thank you! The kids and I appreciate your generosity!
