There are a couple of reasons for needing an iPad to help my student/athletes achieve their best. First, there is an app that allows me to video tape the athletes while running, and then show them immediately where they can improve using the tools in the app that show angles and potential. Second, it will allow me to video the athletes at meets and practices in order to show the student/athletes how they can perform better in events such as, jumps, throws, relays, and race strategies. Having the ability to show these athletes where they are excelling and where they need improvement, while still at practice will give them the best opportunity to excel and improve.
