This project was created to add 3 chromebooks to our classroom. This would allow one group of students to work on various skills independently on educational websites. Technology in the classroom is so vital to student achievement in today's society. Students can improve their academic progress by focusing on specific learning goals on various learning based websites. The younger students like my first graders can listen to reading online to build their reading fluency. They can practice math skills to build their understanding of skills such as addition and subtraction. Students can build their basic keyboarding skills which is necessary to do their best on state and national assessments. Finally, it simply adds a fun aspect to let our kids be kids which is so important to a well balanced child!
