I have a smart, inquisitive group of 5th graders who are excited about hands-on projects. Most of the students in our school will only have access to learning tools of this quality at school. Unfortunately, due to budget loss over that past couple of years our resources are gone. We are limited in our purchases so we have come to a point where we, as teachers, are having to fund our classrooms. This is also a strain on us. I personally cannot afford all the materials I need to have an effective classroom. My students, like any students, deserve the best education possible, and I am doing everything I can to do so. The only problem is that I can't do enough.
