Many of my students have a negative attitude when it comes to computer science. I want to foster a feel good feeling that "yes, you can code." If they can see what they have created in action it will inspire them to become better coders. Robots give them the visual inspiration needed in coding. By programming a robot to move, they can see if mistakes are made. I am requesting one Cue Coding Robot and three Sphero Bolts. The students will use Chromebooks to create code using drag and drop blocks to make the robots move. The students will program the robots using different web-based programs and applications. All programs are similar.
