My students are part of a low income district, yet if I had to describe them in one word, it would be; INSPIRING. Each day I look forward to coming to school because of my students. Many of them have little to no materials, and come from broken homes. However, when seeing them in class one would never know the hardships they bear. At our school we believe that the students are the most important and vital part. Their success is our success. Unfortunately our students have many roadblocks that they must choose to overcome to be successful in school. Our students must choose to not be in gangs, and not get involved in negative activity. It is my job as an educator to help my students make the right decisions. Each new batch of students I receive each year is just another way of showing me why I am a teacher. These students deserve the very best, because they truly are the very best.
