Students today do not know how to use a sewing machine, often they will throw away clothes that have a little hole. With this sewing machine, I will be able to teach them how to repair their clothes, as well as make their own original garment. They may even be able to make Fashion Apparel a career in the future. This class is a basic design course encompassing in the fashion design process from inspiration through production. Focus is on terminology, design elements and principles, the creative process of inspiration documentation and design experimentation. With the sewing machine the students will be able make to garments that they design.

About my class
