The Marcy 110 lb. Olympic Weight Set will be used to incorporate the fundamentals of weightlifting into our physical education program. Many students are always asking us (Phys Ed teachers) how to gain strength and muscle mass. With this weight set we can show them the correct way to execute specific lifts in a safe manner. The students will benefit from the weight set by learning the proper way to perform lifts, develop strength and muscle mass, improve confidence and developing a lifelong hobby of weightlifting. This will also provide us with the opportunity to begin a weightlifting club so students have an additional safe, positive environment to go to after school.
