Students will use the Cricut website to design a shirt for themselves. After they have made sure the sizes are correct, the vinyl will be cut using the Cricut Maker and will be weeded out using the tools which are accompanied in the bundle pack. The students will then use an iron to press their designs on a shirt to see their final products. Students will have a hands on example of taking a abstract idea and making it tangible. Students will perform basic math calculations to see what the cost of the material they used amounts to and how that amount could be put towards the sell price of the final product. Students will take pictures of their designs throughout the process and upload the images to their online portfolio.
