The music rug will be used as a teaching tool in the music classroom. There are many musical symbols on the rug as well as a staff. Students will use the rug to sit on the floor in front of the interactive whiteboard. The rug will also be used to learn musical symbols and music note names on the staff. We will be able to play games, spell words using the letters of the music alphabet, and integrate other subjects into the music curriculum. This rug will be a great asset to the music program here at our elementary school.
